Cold Nights but Warm Hearts

Our first winter season — and we’re just getting started

Tiny Life Rescue is new — but we hit the ground running. From December through February, our first winter season brought 45 cats and kittens through our doors, making it an entirely feline season filled with equal parts challenge and joy.

Among those 45 were 5 nursing moms, each arriving with the extra weight of caring for their own litters. These mama cats and their babies require round-the-clock attention, specialized feeding, and a whole lot of patience — and our fosters and volunteers delivered all of it with love, right from the start.

“Every tiny life that came through our doors this winter reminded us why we started this rescue — even on the coldest nights.”

By the end of February, 19 cats found their forever homes — nearly half of our winter intakes. Behind each adoption is a family who opened their hearts, a volunteer who drove to a drop-off, and a foster who said yes one more time. For a brand new rescue, that is something to celebrate.

Spring Kitten Season is Coming — and We Need You

Spring is kitten season, and as a new rescue, this will be our biggest test yet. Shelters fill fast, calls for help multiply, and tiny lives arrive faster than ever. We’re actively recruiting fosters, volunteers, and donors to help us rise to the moment. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved — now is the time.

Our first winter proved we can do this. Now we’re looking ahead with excitement and a little bit of awe at what spring will bring. We didn’t start Tiny Life Rescue to play it small — we started it because every life matters, no matter how tiny.

To everyone who donated, fostered, adopted, or shared our posts this winter: thank you. You are the reason this rescue exists, and the reason tiny lives get big futures.
