Blooming Season, Bursting with babies
Our biggest season yet — and these tiny lives proved it
Spring arrived right on schedule — and so did the kittens. From March through May, our spring season brought 93 cats and kittens through our doors, the busiest stretch in our rescue’s short history. Every carrier that came through the door held a story, and we did our best to give every story a happy ending.
Spring is kitten season — the time of year every rescue braces for — and this one tested us in every way we expected and a few we didn’t. Bottle babies, feral moms, sick kittens, and everything in between came through our program, and our fosters and volunteers met every single one of them with open arms.
By the end of May, 82 cats and kittens found their forever homes — the vast majority of our spring intakes, and our biggest number yet. Behind each adoption is a family who opened their home, a foster who said yes one more time, and a volunteer who showed up at 6 a.m. for a transport run. For a rescue still finding its footing, this season was proof of what’s possible.

Kitten season doesn’t end when the calendar flips. As temperatures climb, so does intake — and after a record-breaking spring, we know summer will ask even more of us. We’re actively recruiting fosters, volunteers, and donors to help us keep this momentum going. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, now is the time.
This spring proved what our small but mighty rescue can do when our community shows up. We didn’t start this rescue to play it small — we started it because every life matters, no matter how tiny.
To everyone who donated, fostered, adopted, or shared our posts this spring: thank you. You are the reason this rescue exists, and the reason tiny lives get big futures.
